Cryptocurrency trading platform Crypto.com has inked a multi-year global partnership with Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One Team as they return to Grand Prix racing. The sponsor deal will provide significant market exposure for the cryptocurrency exchange.
Crypto.com is claimed to be the first cryptocurrency platform to sponsor an F1 team. Crypto.com’s logo will be emblazoned on the Aston Martin Cognizant F1 Team car at the races.
“We’re proud to be partnering with Aston Martin as they return to Grand Prix racing, especially as the first cryptocurrency platform to be sponsoring an F1 team,” said Kris Marszalek, Co-founder and CEO of Crypto.com.
The move comes a day ahead of Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One Team’s car launch for the 2021 season. As part of the deal, the brands will collaborate to bring exclusive experiences and opportunities to traders and Formula 1 fans.
British car maker Aston Martin is returning to Grand Prix racing in 2021 after being away from Formula One for more than six decades. The team will make its race debut in Bahrain on March 28, 2021.
